Your Wedding Planner
Emily Brasier is Eastwood Park's Wedding Coordinator. She has a wealth of event planning experience and looks after all aspects of our weddings, from the initial show round right up to the big day itself.
"I went on to study Event Management at Gloucestershire University which required a year within the industry. I worked as an Events Assistant for a large event catering company across Bristol and Cheltenham, helping managing the day along with all the catering aspects. After completing my final year at university I was offered an event manager position for that company and it was wedding after wedding from there!"
"I’ve always been very organised, creative and had a keen eye for detail. Growing up I continually organised group activities and outings with my friends, along with family get together’s. During sixth form I organised our leaver’s prom and met with the wedding and event co-ordinator to discuss options and at that point I knew I wanted her job!"
"I thoroughly enjoy my new role as Wedding and Event Coordinator at Eastwood Park. My favourite part of wedding planning is figuring out the logistics of the timeline and creating the perfect flow of an event, making sure everything is run smoothly and on time! I enjoy the morning of the wedding, when everyone comes together to put all of the finishing touches in place ready for the special day.
"Of course I have many favourite parts of a wedding day itself, one of which is seeing the bride and her father together, trying to calm their nerves before walking down the aisle, emotions running high!
"Eastwood Park is a fantastic wedding venue with beautiful grounds which I fell in love with. The venue is cosy, yet very much a blank canvas to allow your wedding day décor come alive! On a warm summer’s day you cannot beat a post ceremony drinks reception in our picturesque setting, a refreshing glass of Pimm’s or some fizz with some tasty canapes! Our accommodation is a massive bonus here as we have 71 bedrooms allowing all of your guests to stay and save them worrying about getting home!"
