We are pleased to confirm the continued improvement and refurbishment of the Eastwood Park estate starts in earnest this month (August).
For those regular visitors to our 200-acre estate you may be aware we have been opening up paths and creating new walks on the estate. Indeed, some of you may have already visited our new Garden Suite that is providing us with a superb light and spacious entertaining space, particularly during this sunny weather.
Now attention is turning to the house where structural repairs are due to start to one of the main roof turrets. General Manager, Tim Payne commented: “As the restoration of the roof takes place at the front of the house, this leaves the remainder of the property relatively undisturbed. As a Grade II listed property, however, we do need to ensure the repairs are done so responsibly and we are employing specialist stonemasons and contractors to delicately carry out this work. Our new Garden Suite which looks out over the grounds at the rear of the house is self-contained with a large bar and kitchen area, so we continue to cater for all our weddings and events as usual.”
It does however mean access to the house remains limited. The front of Eastwood Park’s main house will remain closed, for the safety of all guests and visitors. All other areas are open as normal, and guests should report to our reception area in the Clocktower courtyard.
